Large Group/ OAP Active retirement groups over 25 individuals
Decription/ A demonstration class lasting 30 to 60 mins and a taster of chocolates. Workshop Demo’s include one demonstration on, 'how to' on chocolate ganache/chocolate mousse. Each attendee goes away with a gift bag of two handmade truffles, worth €6.00.

Groups of over 8 people are taken in a demonstration kitchen in M.D.A Mountmellick Development Association as this is an offsite facility bookng it must be confirmed two weeks in advance.
Couples/ Small Group Luxury Chocolate Experience
Duration/ 3 to 4 hours
A Cocoa Couture cocktail on arrival followed by a short demonstration on how to make a basic ganache. The participants then take the lead and make their own ganche. While the ganache is setting we talk a little about tempering chocolate and the participants then get to fill their own mould. While this sets we taste some red wine with three of the chosen dark chocolates truffles to match the wine perfectly. We then fill our moulds with our ganache and whilst this is setting we get an oppertunity to taste a white wine with three of the milk chocolates chosen especially to match the white wine. We then close our moulds whilst enjoying a glass of processco and a chat we allow everything to set and then turn out our chocolates to enjoy at home.

Family Workshop
Duration 2 to 3 hours
Our family workshop is basically the same as the couples and luxury experience but, without the alcohol unless requested with an additional charge (see previous description for pricing). A signature Cocoa Couture hot chocolate on arrival followed by a short demonstration on how to make a basic ganache. The partcpants then take the lead and make their own ganche. While the ganache is setting we talk a little about tempering chocolate, ingredients and a small piece on the history of cocoa if desirable to the attendees, the participants then get to fill their own mould. While this sets we taste three of the chosen dark chocolates truffles to match coffee or tea of choice. We then fill our moulds with our ganche and whilst this is setting we get an oppertunity to taste three of the milk chocolates chosen especially for the tastes of the guests. We then close our moulds whilst enjoying a chat we allow everything to set and then turn out our chocolates to enjoy at home.

Family workshop for under 10yrs
Duration 1 hr
For a family with younger members we have a more age appropriate lollipop making class this is geared towards children aged 4yrs to 10yrs and adults of all ages and abilty. All family members are involved in this hands on workshop. First watch a quick demo on how to make a lollipop and then the participants have a go, making up to ten lollipops each and whilst the lollipops set we make our labels and packaging with our own logo design..
€20.50c Per child/ No charge for one accompanying Adult

Family workshops are restricted to one family group at a time
Please note that the children will get messy and so we urge parents not to allow children to wear their “Good Clothes” for this class, we would also advise comfortable shoes for all workshops. Please advise of any special requirments prior to booking so arrangements can be made or if not advise can be given as to the suitability of the workshop. All pricing reflects the high quality of ingredients used and the tutition recieved, pricing is correct at time of publication. Pricing also reflects global pricing on Cocoa and Cocoa derivatives at the time of complilation of price list.
Classes are schedualed according to the needs of the groups concerned and as such confirmation must be given upon booking of times and dates at least one week in advance of workshop. For individual bookings a non- refundable deposit of 10% must be paid on booking a workshop unless prior arrangement has been agreed upon.
